Jon co-founded Many Hands in May 2013. From San Francisco, he double majored in History and International Relations. Outside of Many Hands, Jon worked for the Nicaraguan Government and Tipping Point Community. After school he moved to Santiago, Chile to work in private equity. Today, in San Francisco, he serves institutional clients at a global asset manager.
Ed co-founded Many Hands. Originally from Pasadena, Ed double majored in Economics and International Studies and minored in Computer Science. Like Jon, Ed works at an asset manager in Boston. A dual citizen, Ed speaks three languages and is published in the Journal of Genocide Research.
Nick joined Many Hands to tackle big questions about civics and society. As a Venture Associate at ideaTree and co-founder of his own startup within the incubator, he has a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship and innovation. Nick collaborates with others to apply these frameworks to public systems.
Phil co-founded Many Hands with Jon and Ed. He studied Biology and Chemistry, and is currently a student at the University of Massachusetts medical school. A co-founder, Phil works to recruit medical services to areas where healthcare opportunities are limited.
